What it does for you Postures 1 and 2 are useful actions for breathing. Posture 1 expands intracostal muscles (chest muscles) and expands air capacity of lung and posture 2 brings it to normal position. And the action of the arms during these postures gives full movement to shoulder girdle and other joint joints and muscles of arms.

Posture 3 |
What it does for you Stretches backbone, joints and muscles, gives some pressure to lungs, heart, stomach, intestines, kidneys and their adjoining structures. Strengthens the neck and back muscles. Brings pressure to shoulder, elbow and wrist joints and gives stretch to knee joint. Pressure comes to the abdominal muscles and brings pressure to intestines to increase its movement to push forward its residual contents. Stretches the muscles of leg, gives a movement to the hip joint and adjoining muscles, gives pressure to ankle joints.

What it does for you Posture 4 brings the stretched muscles and joints to normal position after ending posture 3.

Posture 5 |
What it does for you Full stretch comes to vertebrae column (backbones) and its adjoining muscles, nerves, veins and arteries to protect from backache, pains, cramps and disc problems. This posture increases the blood flow to its attached veins and arteries.
Pressure comes to lungs, stomach, pancreas, liver, intestines and urinary organs, thus enhances their normal function. It also increases the movement of intestines to push forward its contents for absorption and excretion.
Neck bone joints, muscles and nerves get full stretch, it is a beneficial exercise for cervical spondylosis, the cause for neck pain. The position increases the blood circulation to the brain and keeps it active.
This action also gives a full movement to shoulder, elbow, wrist and finger joints. It also gives a stretch to the nerves and muscles of the arms and strengthens them.
A full range of movements occur to hip, knee, ankle, foot and toe joints. It stretches the leg muscles and nerves, increases the blood circulation and keeps all ligaments and tendons, nerves and muscles in a healthy state.

What it does for you Posture 8 is a relaxing time for some joints and muscles, but it gives a stretch to the hip, knee, ankle and foot joints, ligaments and adjoining muscles.

What it does for you Posture 9 and 10 are useful for neck muscles and bonesa nd these postures give a bilateral movement to both eyeballs.

What it does for you Posture 11 is a relaxing time for back and neck muscles. Posture stretches leg muscles and joints and relaxes shoulder and elbow joints.

OTHER ADVANTAGES |
Most common diseases these days are hypertension, diabetes, obesity, coronary artery disease. All the patients who suffer from these diseases are advised to exercise to control them. Exercise is the best medicine to keep these diseases under control. So five times walking from the home to the mosque and physical action during praying and back to home are enough physical actions to keep you healthy and away from such fatal diseases.
Praying also give you mental satisfaction and reduces some degree of anxiety, depression, stress and tension which are also considered to be the contributing factors to various diseases.
Ablution is washing the face, mouth, nostrils, ears, arms till elbow, and feet before performing prayers. Washing these parts five times a day has great advantages. It can protect from tooth decays, eye infections, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, pelvic infections and other bacterial infections.
