"Muslims do not have good Leaders. The present condition of the Muslims is because they do not have good Leaders to garner them into a cohesive force." How many times have we all heard these sort of comments and agreed with it. We also believe that having so many Sects within our community, prevents any one leader from getting the support of a large number of people. Hence even though we may all have our own favourite leading personality, the Muslim Ummah as a whole, does not have a unanimous leading person
This could be just one reason for Disunity among Muslims.
Islamic Voice wishes to get its readers thinking about this issue seriously. We as a community need to be self-reliant, rather than depend on others to achieve our goals as one united Ummah. But before that, we need to put our heads together and ponder about the Causes of Disunity in the Muslim Community and then follow it up with " What should be done to unite Muslims worldwide"?
We invite you to pen your thoughts on "What are the Reasons for Disunity among Muslims Worldwide'?
We do not expect a 2000 word essay on this , but do jot down the main points and send it to us. While the best compiled entry shall win a prize and of course be published, the names of all those who sent in their thoughts shall be recorded on the pages of Islamic Voice.
