On 19th August, immediately after the news of widespread flood in north eastern part of Bihar, Jama’at-e-Islami Bihar under the leadership of Nayyaruzzaman, Vice President, Bihar a team of hundred volunteers, started rescue operations and relief activities. A high level team under the leadership of Prof. K. A. Siddique Hassan, Vice President Jama’at-e-Islami Hind, Prof. Ejaz Aslam, Secretary Jama’at-e-Islami Hind and Sayed Quamarul Huda , State President Jama’at-e-Islami Hind Bihar along with a team of doctors from Kerala visited the affected areas and consoled the relatives of the missed and bereaved people and provided medical assistance.
We appeal to all the philanthropists to donate generously to this humanitarian cause.
