“Allah-He is the Protector” (42:9)


Allah is the True Protector. He protects His servants from the powers of evil. “Allah is the Protector of the believers. He brings them forth from the darkness into the light.” (2:257). He supports them and grants them victory. He loves them, guides them and inspires them. Yet, some seek help from other beings whom they love and cherish apart from Allah, but the Quran tells them, “You have none, apart from Allah as a protector and helper.” (2:107).

The scenes showed memories sweet yet distant

Then again, there were scenes of sorrow
When the hopes of joy returning were narrow
Yet the game of life we kept playing
Like palm trees in a storm, forever swaying
From cradle to grave our smile is enduring
Though the time in between our problems keep recurring
As passionately as God gives us his grace
He gives us problems to strengthen us in life’s race
Even in the darkest of nights, when there is not a hint of hope,
There will always be a shining light, which will teach us to cope.
When a flower feels like wilting with sorrow,
Its gardener will always be there for it,
today and tomorrow.
