OPINION ON ISLAMIC VOICE

It was 2006, when one of my friends advised me to read Islamic Voice. Since then, it became my monthly hobby to read it carefully. As a student of History, I have always appreciated the objectivity and true concern of this magazine for the humanity and Muslims all over the world. I pray to Almighty Allah to make it more popular and prosper with the same kind of objectivity in days to come. Each of us should make at least 20 copies of subscription of Islamic Voice, so that every educated Indian has the advantage of reading the objective voice of Islam and Muslims. Last, but not the least I am thankful to the people behind Islamic Voice especially Mr Sadatullah Khan and Maqbool Ahmed Siraj for producing this great piece of knowledge.

I have been reading Islamic Voice for the last 20 years. In my view, it is the best Muslim monthly published in India. I have acquired a great deal of knowledge about Islam and the Muslim world from the wonderful monthly. I am a researcher on Muslim issues and many times, I have referred to it for my research. We all need to make it stronger and stronger. May Allah give long life, prosperity and good health to Mr Sadathullah Khan and Mr Maqbool Ahmed Siraj to strive to make Islamic Voice the voice of Muslims from India, always.

It is heartening to know that the popular monthly, Islamic Voice of which, I am an avid reader from its inception, is completing its 25 years of useful and dedicated service to the community and country. I have always found it interesting, particularly its meaningful, free and frank editorials. It has been highlighting the national and international issues confronting the community in proper perspective. Running a monthly of this kind is not an easy task. One can understand the problems faced in keeping it alive. In my opinion, its success story is the result of the combined efforts put forth by the Islamic Voice team, particularly Mr. Sadathullah Khan and Mr. Maqbool Ahmed Siraj. Islamic Voice has been the voice of the community, echoing their problems and sentiments in a befitting manner keeping in view the fast developing world. Its views have been progressive and of course in accordance with Islamic thoughts. Its attempts have also been for the unity and development of the community. In its Silver Jubilee year, I congratulate and wish it all the best in the coming years.

It was a joyful moment when I visited the Islamic Voice office on 19th December 2011, while the team was busy in bringing out the special issue of Islamic Voice, having served for 25 long years, the whole Muslim elite global society. Alhamdulillah, I had been going through all the issues, with record of these issues as my archive. All its editorials and other important write ups are designed in a way that gives us a new insight to understand the Muslim world, Muslims’ issues, grievances and challenges. Keep up the good work!
