WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THE WORKSHOP

In the first day of the workshop your anger disappears and you enter into a state of peace and tranquility. You feel free and light and your view of life, people around you and the world transforms.

The next day you get rid off the burden of the past and the constrains the past imposes on your view of life. You get access to live in the present and create a new future. You have the power, freedom and self-expression to take any challenge that life throws at you and life is no longer a burden. Your view of life alters. You create a new you, surrendering to the will of Allah and choosing to be His representative. You purify your heart and truly get connected with Almighty Allah.

Third day you witness a whole new world around you by demolitioning (fana) your ego. You see life as simple with Truth prevailing and Falsehood perishing. You experience, love, joy, peace, happiness, contentment and bliss, a gift Allah has given you to experience and share with others.

Unless there is individual transformation
there will be no Universal Transformation.
Now we need a revolution, not for changing others, but to change ourselves

The spiritual weapon of self-purification, intangible as it seems, is the most potent means of revolutionizing one¡¦s environment and loosening external shackles. It works subtly and invisibly; it is an intense process though it might often seem a weary and long-drawn one. It is the straightest way to liberation. The surest and quickest and no effort can be too great for it. What it requires is faith.

I have traveled to many countries, attending seminars by world renown scholars such as Earl Nightingale, Dennis Weatley, Wyne Dyer and Deepak Chopra, amongst others. All these great personalities passed on information and their personal experiences. I always felt that there was a need to write a course for Muslims, based on Qur¡¦aan and Sunnah. Sadathullah Khan has done it. We have discovered talent that has the ability and method to transform people. My advice to all my brothers and sisters is to take this opportunity to learn the concept of La illaha illallah, the meaning of abundance and the meaning of unlimited possibilities.

A brief profile - A.W. Sadathullah Khan
Janab A W Sadathullah Khan hails from the leading I T hub of the world and culturally rich city of Bangalore, India. A mechanical engineer by profession and a gold medallist from Bangalore University. After having worked in HAL, I.T.I and in Saudi Arabia, he returned to India to set up an export oriented Industry. He gave up his business and at present he has dedicated his life to serving humanity. He is also a journalist, publisher and the editor of the renowned English monthly, Islamic Voice, since January 1987. He is the founding member of the PEACE FOR YOU International Foundation and He spent many years in designing a unique course, ¡§Discover Yourself¡¨, based on Qur¡¦an and Sunnah.
In the past six years he has conducted more than 145 three-day workshops in all major cities of India and abroad, which has transformed the lives of thousands of participants who have attended his workshop.

The “Discover Yourself Workshop” was conducted by A.W. Sadathullah Khan on 28, 29 and 30 November 2008 at Universal Sports Club, Harare, Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe today is at its lowest recession period, whose currency fluctuates every few hours. Shop keepers, keep changing the price tags two or three times a day. People are under stress, uncertainty and financially hit very badly. We can see people on the streets in front of the banks to draw their money, but they can draw not more than two US$ per week. A cup of coffee is two million zimbabwe dollars. The country is rich in minerals and other natural resources. The only crime, I see is, they are not surrendering to the western exploitors who want them to give up and agree to their terms. By not surrendering to the west, the price they have been paying from past eight years- no world aid reaches them. And I find the leadership is selfish and corrupt, exploiting the situation to their advantage. I found Zimabawe local people are very patient and good people, unlike other Africans.
Here some of the participants share their experiences.



Mohammed: After the first day when I went home, I did find a tremendous change in myself and the people who attended the workshop. The breakthrough I had was on the second day when I forgave everyone. I cannot wait to see the results of my daily life after the workshop. The workshop is brilliant and I recommend it for everyone. Better marketing has to be done.

Seedat: I was playing blame game and was stuck in the box. The workshop opened my eyes and made me a better person in the eyes of my husband and children. Brought me closer to them. The workshop was very enjoyable.

Jahanara: I had allowed myself to be stressed and not focused. After having breast cancer I had learnt to live in the moment and slowly as time passed I got caught up in living in my head. This workshop was a reminder and wake up call for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has been a special learning experience for me. I feel inspired and motivated.

Zubeda: My life before the workshop was filled with daily questioning of why things happen the way they do. I was less calm and often worried about what may occur, even it has not happened. My major turning point in the workshop was finding spiritual upliftment and calmness. When we did the zikr, I felt at peace and everything around me disappeared. The workshop helped me realize my role in achieving happiness and success and life is what you make of it wherever you are. On the first day of the workshop, I did not quite get it, but by the third day, I began to realise a lot and I am grateful to Mr Sadathullah Khan for conducting this workshop.

Alisha: Prior to the workshop, I was living in the past, bringing the past and not wanting to see the future because of what I experienced could be fear and failure! I have been married twice and divorced twice. In that 30 years I always thought why me? What did I do to deserve this? It was blaming and self pity etc. Even with the members of my family I always felt there were never there for me in helping me to bring up my two sons. Now after the workshop, I have realized it has been me. There is nothing wrong in me. I have realized that in life YOU can make the choice with the guidance from Allah. I must start living my life in the moment, I must learn to forgive and stop blaming.

Rashid: Before the members of my family had attended the workshop in South Africa and I saw a big change in them and so I decided to attend. On the first day I could not understand what it was all about and later understood it. I witnessed that I have been living my life in the box, living in the past. Now I am aware of it and I can change and live in the now, not judging, not assuming. I used to bottle up things and now I know how to deal with it.

Tahera: The first day I did not see any changes. My husband, my son and I attended. The second day I saw a change in all of us. My son for the first time hugged me and I felt he was crying from deep inside himself. Now all of us talk with feelings for each other. I have a lot of anger in me and I will over come it. I find this workshop is related to Islam completely.

Qaader: Within myself, I feel that I have found exactly what I have been searching for a long time. I can feel the change in myself. God willing, I wish to pursue with determination the path that we have discovered here. I have become conscious of my small mistakes and I am determined to correct them. I will not let the whisper of Satan guide me. I am sure that this workshop will make a difference to my life. I want to organise the workshop in Mozambique and we need to expand this in Portuguese language.

Faiza: Before the workshop, my life was full of anger and jealousy. I used to blame others for my anger and discontent. After attending the workshop, I realised that all my problems are because of me and not others. I realised that I must forget the past because it affects my present and future. This workshop is an awakening in my life and it should be conducted frequently.

Fatima: The workshop helped me to listen to others. Not to be judgmental. Learnt to care and share my experience with others. To be forgiving. To see others for what they are. To help my community in anyway I can and help me make the right choices and decisions in life.

Amina: Earlier life was meaningless. I did not know what to do with my life. Now I feel that I can face challenges and I can handle any situation more confidently and positively. Before, I was giving in to my nafs, living as I pleased, not listening to others advice, getting irritated on small things. Now, I see a bigger picture and most importantly how to think positively. I feel lighter inside, knowing that I can change my future and accept whatever Allah has given to me and be grateful for it.

Zaheer: I was blinded in denial of the decisions and point of views in my life as I always looked for a meaning to anything that happened around me. I always suffered asking questions about why me? Why now? Why this way? After the workshop I have learnt to accept life and make free choices. It made me realize where my beliefs, morals and practices were coming from. I wish to correct them and choose words that will help me live the way Allah wants me to live. This workshop really helped me open my eyes to the blindness Satan had trapped me in. I shall use the tools of the workshops to shut the Satan and take control of my life. I wish the workshop was for a little longer period as it takes longer time to realize and accept the self deception and point of views we have created in our lives.
