Annual Student Development Programme

A 10 -day tour of Muslim schools was conducted by the student development program for 2100 students of 10th Std and career guidance program for 500+ students of 12th Std.


Momin Students Welfare Trust (MSWT) swung into action with its Annual Student Development Program for the 10th Std students aimed at Empowering the Students for Excellence in Exams which lays the foundation for Muslims getting into Higher Education. The program started off on 1st December 2006 from the North Karnataka District – Bidar.


A complete 10 -day tour of Muslim schools was conducted by the student development program for 2100 students of 10th std and career guidance program for 500+ students of 12th std. The 3 hour program consisted of 1 hour talk on “ Personality Development, The Concept of Change”, followed by the workshop on “ Study skills and techniques” and “ Career Guidance”. It’s a Free of Cost workshop. No fee collected from students.


The MSWT team – (1) Mr. Mohammed Sayeed – Expert Committee Member, NCERT, (2) Mr. Ameen-e-Mudassar, Career Counsellor and Director iNikah.com (3) Mr. Ibrahim Khaleelullah Khan, Senior Software Engineer, Oracle Technologies (4) Mr. Alla Baksh, KSSRD (5) Mr. Abdul Jabbar, Senior Software Engineer, Bell Labs (6) Mr. Rahmath Shariff, Software Engineer, Tejas Networks & (7) Mr. Arif Ahmed, Software Engineer, Hewlett Packard visited the Urdu and English medium High schools and colleges in the North Karnataka districts - Bidar, Gulbarga, Raichur, Bijapur, Belgaum, Dharwad and Hubli and the South Maharashtra district - Rajapur. The programs were conducted in association with the local NGO’s and School Managements.

1. Bidar, 2 Dec 2006 : Al Shaheen High School and Al Shaheen PU College.
Total Partcipants : 10std - 150, 12th std - 100

Participants : 11 and 12 std : 170 students. 10std : 75 students.

3. Raichur, 4 Dec 2006 : Princess Fatima High School, Govt Urdu High School, Naya Madrasa Boys High School, Little Angles High School and Crescent College
Participants : 10std - 200+, 12std - 15.
Organisers : Mr. Ghulam Ahmed Khan, Tauhid Educational and Charitable Trust, Raichur


4. Bijapur, 6 Dec 2006 : SECAB PU College, Anjuman-e-Islam PU College, SECAB High School, Al Hasanath Urdu High school.
Participants : 10th std : 180, 11th and 12th std : 500

Participants: 10th Std : 300
