Madrasa Abu (Bou) Inania
The Abu (Bou) Inania Madrassah built around 1350 CE by Sultan Abu Inan, in Fez, Morocco, is the most attractive of all schools that were built during that period. The cost of the building was enormous; but Abu Inan was so delighted with the work of his architect that he refused even to check his bill. “What is beautiful,” he said, “is what gives pleasure to all, and is never too expensive.” |
