Harmony Dinner

Feroze’s Estate Agency, under the dynamic leadership of Feroze Abdulla has been celebrating the “Harmony Dinner” for over 20 years every year. Under the flagship of “Rainbow Forum”, founded by Feroze Abdulla which focuses on issues like communal harmony and inter-faith dialogue, the Harmony Dinner held this year just a day after Eid-ul-Fitr, brought together people from all communities-Hindus, Muslims Sikhs, Christians and Jains to celebrate the occasion with the true spirit of solidarity. While chief minister of Karnataka, N. Dharam Singh was the chief guest, Dr Ajai Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Police, Bangalore city was the Guest of Honour. Scholars and intellectuals representing different communities spoke on communal harmony. Infact Dr Ajai Kumar Singh and the entire IPS team from Bangalore have been striving hard for the noble cause of secularism and unity. The event was unique and first of its kind in India. This effort of Feroze Abdulla ought to be taken as an excellent example by more Muslims across India to develop a dialogue and bring people of different faiths together. Hosted at the Samad House, the 1500 people present for the Harmony Dinner, not only carried memorable flavours of the Eid Biryani, but also the spark to work together for the cause of peace and harmony.
