To the Fold of Allah
|
Many thanks for your reply. Almost all articles in IV are good. I would very much like to change the caption “Darkness to light” to “To the fold of Allah”.
Could you kindly get me the address of Dr. Javed Jamil or his centre for Applied Islamics / email. Also the address of the gentleman who makes Solar powered car, bicycle etc., in Bangalore.
Thank you very much for your good words. We have also noted your other comments. Dr. Jamil’s email id is doctorforu123@yahoo.com Editor

Truly Inspiring
|
The story of Fatima and Salar Shaik is truly inspiring “From slums to infosys” - I.V July, 2007, though it did not let the readers know to which place they belong (obviously inadvertent omission). There are multitudes of Muslim girls who would dump educational career once they get married and pursuing of education thereafter squarely depends upon the perseverance of the girls as well as the mercy of their husbands and in-laws. The world after globalization has opened up plethora of avenues for the educated women to make a decent earning. When Muslim women in KSA and other Islamic countries are doing jobs, there is no reason why they should be shunned from getting involved in economic participation in our country. I only wish the tribe of Fatima and Salar Shaik to increase!

Plea for Haneef
|
It is highly pathetic that the whole Muslim community, including its leaders and scholars are keeping quiet on the issue of Dr Mohammed Haneef.
Please tell me, why do all the scholars, editors, leaders, etc speak with so much of passion against the wrong done to Muslims living thousands of miles away and here in front of us our own fellow Indian and brothers in Islam and their families have been going through such injustices and we haven’t even shown them a bit of support?
How can this be sir, we who claim to feel for our brethren in Iraq, Palestine and else where cant feel or don’t have the courage to feel for our own so own that they live in the same cities, in which we do our of the same community may be our neighbour friend or friend of a friend, or a far off relation and yet we turn blind eye on them. Shouldn’t we be ashamed sir?
Atleast i am Do you think the Muslim youth will even try to bother listening to their leaders and scholars now, when they know this how they treat them at the hour of need. May Allah forgive us all, and bless us with hidyah. Amathullah Email: amathullah@yahoo.co.in

A Question of Faith
|
I am a Sunni Muslim, native of Hangal in Dharwad dist, settled in Hubli for the last sixty years. For the sake of my children’s higher education, I arranged my son’s marriage a couple of years back at sirsi in “Ahal-e-Hadis” family for the act of which the people of Hangal imposed a social boycott on me and my family stating that the “NIKAH” of the person attended this marriage became null and void. Kindly enlighten me in the wake of Hadis and Sunna their justification.
