The study was commissioned by John Prescott’s former department, the office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM). It was asked to review data on the Hindu, Sikh and Muslim communities.

99% Women in UK Army Bullied

99 per cent of women in the Armed Forces have been sexually harassed, a survey in the United Kingdom has found. More than two-thirds of female troops have also personally experienced “sexualized behaviour” including being sent pornographic pictures, unwanted touching and sexual assaults, the Equal Opportunity Commission said. The survey is significant in the wake of controversy of role of women in the Indian armed forces.
