K.S.Town is the satellite town of Bangalore close to Bangalore University. There are 3040 independent flats out of which 85 flats are occupied by Middle-Class Muslim families. There is no mosque nearby. There is no place to build a mosque, so the residents approached Hamdardan-e-Millat to buy a flat which costs Rs 15 lakh. We request the community members to contribute for this noble cause. The flat will be used as a mosque. For further details, contact: M. Samiulla Abbasi, President - Ph: 9945190398. Relief Work in Lebanon
THE ART OF LIVING

An Appeal

The founder of the Art of living and International Association of Human Values, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has sent volunteers to areas in Lebanon affected by Israeli bombing. Over the last few days more than 45 volunteers including several Art of Living doctors led by Ms. El Masri Amal, Dr. Waleen Echtay and Dr, Nadwa Al Abdallah have intensified the relief operations despite continuing conflict in the area.

In addition to providing emergency supplies including food, medicines, bedding and shelter, The Art of Living volunteers have started trauma relief camps providing immediate relief and solace to Lebanese traumatized by continuous bombing. Hundreds of people have benefited from these camps whose focus was mainly on meditation, pranayam and other stress elimination techniques. The people have expressed their gratitude to Sri Sri and Art of Living for sending relief and volunteers. "It was a great relief for many of us to hear the voice of Guruji, on the phone," said Amal.

"At this time of utmost despair Guruji has sent his volunteers and blessings to us. We do not know how to express our gratitude to Him. People are really moved by love and compassion of Sri Sri for the people of Lebanon" said Dr. Nadwa Al Abdallah.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's volunteers swung into action soon after the Israeli bombing displaced thousands of Lebanese people. Apart from providing essential relief supplies, medicines worth more than $100,000 are being shipped by volunteers from Dubai to Lebanon,

Art of Living's international sister organization, International Association of Human Values (IAHV) will accept donations as well as medicines to support the relief work in Lebanon. This is a heartfelt appeal for all our brothers and sisters in Lebanon
