Teaching job vacancies in Saudi Arabia for Women
Prince Sultan College, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Job opportunity for Lady Teachers Prince Sultan College is arranging for the opening of a new Women's College starting in September 2001, InshaAllah!. The College will be responsible for teaching a Preparatory Year Program for 200 female students each year who will later study English Medium Courses leading to Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting. The Preparatory Tear Program is composed of four main strands, all of which are taught in English in the following areas:- English for Academic purposes Mathematics Computer Applications Physical Education The Program extends over one Academic Year and this is divided into two 15 week semesters. We have opportunities for well qualified, committed, and experienced teachers for the above starting in September and January each Gregorian calendar year. Applicants must be willing to teach in a highly structured intensive program to which they are expected to prepare and submit examination material, ideas and other positive productive methodologies. The medium of instruction in all disciplines is English.

Positions Vacant:-

  • ENGLISH INSTRUCTORS Qualifications: Native English speakers with MA in TEFL/TESL or Applied Linguistics, OR a ONE Academic Year full-time postgraduate Diploma in TEFL/TESL from a recognized University/Institution. Experience: Minimum two years overseas teaching experience in EFL/ESL, preferably with intensive EAP course experience.
  • MATHEMATICS INSTRUCTORS Qualifications: USA/Canada: MS Degree or equivalent in Math. Candidates having adequate teaching experience at College level will be given preference. UK?Ireland: First Degree in Maths with appropriate postgraduate qualification (MSc, MEd or PGCE). A- Level or College teaching experience is essential. Native English speaking teachers are preferred.
  • COMPUTER INTRSUCTORS Qualifications: St least an MS Degree in Computer Science or related areas; Candidates must submit transcripts with their applications. Individuals with demonstrated research records and/or industrial experience in various areas of Computer Science will be given preference. Experience: Candidates with established teaching records & who are English native speakers are preferred.
  • PHYSICAL/HEALTH EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS Qualifications: Physical Education specialists with strong Health Education background. Certificates in Physical Fitness Programs such as Aerobics, Calisthenics; Nutrition background and First Aid & CPR Certificates are plus factors. A minimum of 3 years actual teaching experience in this field or its related field is required. The course covers a wide spectrum of health issues including nutrition, fitness, healthy lifestyle strategies and physical activities such as aerobics and other forms of calisthenics. First Aid & CPR Programs will be part of the curriculum.
